Ingredients:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C
Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt together the peanut butter and unsalted butter until smooth
Stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined
Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until incorporated
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined
If desired, fold in chocolate chips
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs
Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving
