Ingredients:
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup prepared pesto sauce
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente
Drain and set aside
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat
Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, saut for 1-2 minutes until fragrant
Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side
Reduce heat to low, add cooked linguine to the skillet along with pesto sauce
Toss until pasta is well coated
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta and shrimp mixture, toss gently to combine
Remove from heat and garnish with fresh basil leaves
Serve hot, optionally with additional Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes for extra flavor
